working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Cath Lab RN in
Bloomington, Illinois, 61701! Job Title: Cardiac Cath RN
Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 9H Days, rotating weekends and taking
call Hours per Shift: 9 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of
experience required License: Active Illinois RN license
Certifications: BLS, ACLS (AHA) Must-Have: Previous cath lab
experience Description: The role involves working in a cardiac cath
lab environment. You will be responsible for caring for patients
undergoing cardiac catheterizations and related procedures. You
will need to read telemetry strips and titrate intravenous
medications. Experience with peripheral angiograms and
interventional radiology is preferred. You will work with an
average of three catheterizations and two angiograms per day.
Common patient diagnoses include STEMI, stroke, and other cardiac
conditions. You will collaborate with a charge nurse and cath lab
technicians. On-call requirements include 2-3 nights per week and
every third weekend. You may also be required to be on call for two
holidays per year. Scrubs will be provided by the facility. The
electronic medical record system used is Epic. Floating to other
units is rare and you will not take patient assignments while
floating. Unit-specific orientation is typically one week, made up
of four shifts. This position meets the needs of an acute care
setting. The ability to work effectively in a team and under
