As our Manager, Supply Chain, working at World Headquarters in Tinley Park, Illinois, you will report to the Senior Manager, Supply Chain Design, and take ownership of a blend of strategic and tactical responsibilities. You will analyze data and develop solutions to enable sales, work on cost reduction projects to enhance our supply chain, manage new product introductions, and lead our lifecycle management process. You will interact internally with business unit leaders, sales, manufacturing, finance, logistics, and the sourcing team, and present recommendations and findings to management. Your ability to develop solutions that improve our supply chain, methodical project management, problem-solving, and process development skills will fit well within our data-driven, solution-based environment. You will manage and mentor a small team of project managers as a collaborative leader. You will have room to grow in this role within our growing, cross-functional organization.
What You'll Bring:
The ideal Manager, Supply Chain will have six or more years of experience in an analytical and/or project management role involving the full supply chain management process, and will excel at influencing cross-functional teams in a highly-matrixed global organization. You will have experience with new product introductions in addition to management of existing product lines. Process development and process improvement, along with strong business acumen, effective negotiation skills, and customer-facing experience are essential for success. You will be an excellent presenter, comfortable speaking to executive management and to all levels of stakeholders. Additionally, experience leading a team or being a formal people manager is highly desirable. A bachelor's degree is required, ideally in supply chain management, business, operations management, or another relevant discipline. An MBA is preferred. Global experience is preferred. You will have experience with an enterprise level ERP system (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and are facile with CRM systems. Business Objects experience is desirable. Certification from APICS (CPIM, CPM, or CSCP, for example) would be beneficial. PMI certification as a PMP is desirable but not required.
