OverviewStart your veterinary career as an Associate IndeVet: a first job so awesome, you won't need a second.The IndeVets GP Rotating Mentorship Program is a comprehensive, paid mentorship designed for new and recent grads. It aims to help you confidently transition into a full-time vet med career with substantial hands-on support. If you're an experienced vet seeking a transition into small animal general practice, this program is also suitable for you.As a fully paid IndeVet, you will receive:

• Six months of practical clinical experience with real-time mentorship.
• Exposure to diverse care settings including corporate, private, shelters, and specialties.
• Weekly coaching sessions with the Director of Clinical Excellence to support your professional growth and well-being.
• Access to our GP Clinical Certification course to enhance your knowledge.
• Hands-on labs in ultrasound, surgery, and dentistry.
• Fear-Free and BlendVet (DEIB) Certification programs.
• Training in communication and conflict management.
• Extensive mental health resources, including 1:1 support from our veterinary social worker.
• 24/7 access to a private clinical chat group on the IndeVets App for peer support.
• Support from our veterinary social workers and leadership to sustain your well-being.Basic clinical requirements include:
  • Minimum of 34 hours/week work commitment.
  • Active veterinary license/DEA license/CDS license (if applicable) or eligibility to apply for one.
  • Openness to feedback and collaborative learning.
  • Strong clinical skills and excellent client communication skills.Benefits include:
