Benefits Specialist Tinley Park, IL (http://maps.google.com/maps?q=18450+Crossing+Dr+Tinley+Park+IL+60487) ApplyDescriptionThe Benefits Administrator will manage the organization's benefits offerings. This will include health insurance, wellness program and 401K. The Benefit Manager works with employees to help them understand the vast array of benefit offerings and manages the relationship with vendors. Duties/Responsibilities:+ Manage Open Enrollment process by creating and implementing- a project plan, and create open enrollment documentation and employee communication materials. + Employee entry into the Benefit Portal + Collaborates with Payroll Manager on 401K management.+ Develops, implements, administers and maintains benefit programs+ Contributes to the updates and management of benefit policies and procedures. + Ensures programs meet employee needs, comply with legal requirements and are cost effective+ Communicates benefit changes and updates+ Counsel employees on the benefits, issues and requests timely+ Research trends and developments+ Organizes Wellness Program with employees for all locations+ Communicates all benefits employees could participate in+ Organizes and supports in company events and activities+ Back up to Payroll Manager+ Collaborates with HR Team as it impacts the benefits system. - Manage HR administrative tasks - Enter and track pre-employment requirements for new hires - File both paper and electronic files - Assist in new hire orientation - Manage clothing order - Manage time and labor - Data entry - Copy/print requested documents - Send out 90 day reviews and complete follow ups with management - Assist in employee event set up + Performs other duties as assigned.Requirements Required Skills/Abilities:+ Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.+ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.+ Strong analytical and problem-solving and critical thinking skills.+ Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.+ Proficient with payroll software. Paylocity knowledge an added benefitEducation and Experience:+ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or related field required.+ Three to five years of related experience in Benefits Administration required.+ Certificate in professional benefits, such as Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) or Certified Employee Benefits Specialist(CEBS) preferred.
