What you can expect in this position:
We Train! We like to think of our phlebotomists as the
you’ll ever meet. We train all of our phlebotomists in the
techniques that will
help them advance their careers in health care, while working
compassionate and mission-driven group of professionals.
To get you started on your journey with us, we begin with an
training program. This includes four weeks of classroom training
and two weeks
of mentorship with an established phlebotomist.
What you will do:
accurate medical interviewing
•Determine donor eligibility
•Perform venipunctures/draw blood
•Ensure donor and recipient safety
•Travel to companies, schools and organizations in the area for
•Packs equipment supplies for blood drive, assist load and
•Responsible for set-up and dismantling of blood collection
accordance with established plan
What you will need:
•A valid driver’s license in good standing
•A high school diploma or equivalent required
•A proven track record of customer service excellence
To serve our community, you will work a varied schedule between
4am - 10pm
Monday - Friday and alternating weekends.
