Job Description Job Description JOB DESCRIPTION: 2nd Shift Production Manager SUMMARY: iCONN Systems, LLC is a manufacturer of connectors, cable assemblies and value added turnkey products with facilities in North America and Southeast Asia serving global markets. Our management team has extensive connector/cable assembly experience, in excess of 100 years, to the benefit of our customers. iCONN focuses on engineered solutions which provide our customers with high quality, cost effective designs for their specific applications, backed by superior customer service. POSITION SUMMARY: Supervise 2nd Shift production operations with focus on employee motivation and accountability, assuring perfect quality and on-time delivery, throughput time reduction, inventory control, cost and waste reduction. RESPONSIBILITIES: For all ongoing production operations on the shift, Production Manager is responsible for: - The entire manufacturing process of the product, - The assembly and functional testing processes of the product - Developing and nurturing the lean manufacturing culture - Operator training, - Identifying, maintaining, and enhancing production norms, - Job assignments and scheduling, - Supervision of hourly personnel, - Record keeping as required, - Recognizing component part issues, providing feedback to quality engineers, product engineers, and manufacturing engineers working toward permanent solutions. - Expediting component parts, when necessary, - Other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED: · 2-year degree, certification, or equivalent experience in an applicable discipline. · Minimum of 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred · Manufacturing supervision experience · ERP Experience Required · Connector / cable assembly experience a plus Summary of Benefits: - Retirement Savings Plan. 401K Plan - Paid Time Off.
