Our client, a leading organization in the logistics and warehousing industry, is seeking a Materials Handler 1 to join their team. As a Materials Handler 1, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting picking, shipping, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Materials Handler 1 Location: Buffalo Grove, IL Pay Range: $19.00-23.00 Shift: 3rd Shift: 8:30 pm to 5:00 am What's the Job? Assist in warehouse picking and packing operations to ensure timely order fulfillment Handle boxes weighing up to 55 pounds, placing them on carts and pallets Stack boxes efficiently and accurately according to specifications Read, count, and verify product details using scanners and calculators Support material movement using pallet trucks and other handling equipment, ensuring safety and damage prevention What's Needed? Minimum of 6 months warehouse picking experience Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, up to 6 days a week Comfortable standing for long periods and walking around the facility Reliable transportation to the Buffalo Grove location What's in it for me?
