meaningful work-life balance.Being an Agile Data Governance Lead -
Enterprise Data at iManage Means---You will drive the agile
implementation of data governance strategies to ensure the quality,
security, and compliance of our Enterprise data. You will utilize
agile methodologies to deliver incremental value while adapting to
changing business needs. You will serve as a product owner for data
governance initiatives, facilitating cross-functional collaboration
and rapid response to emerging data challenges. This role requires
an analytical thinker who can balance technical expertise with
business acumen while effectively leading cross-functional
initiatives and driving cultural change in a complex
organization.iM Responsible For---
- Establishing and championing a data governance vision,
strategy, and framework for Enterprise data.
- Iteratively developing policies and standards aligned with
business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Building and guiding agile cross-functional data governance
teams to establish clear data ownership and stewardship
practices.
- Leading the incremental development of metadata management
processes using an MVP approach.
- Implementing data categorization, data lineage tracking,
definitions, labelling and dependencies through iterative
improvements to data dictionaries and cataloging tools.
- Driving data quality excellence through empirical process
control, establishing measurable standards, and implementing
real-time monitoring mechanisms to enable quick identification and
resolution of issues.
- Partnering with Data Privacy and Data Security teams to
collaboratively ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)
while maintaining an adaptive approach to risk management.
- Partnering with Data Engineering and Agile Project Managers to
coordinate the implementation of technologies and data governance
initiatives which affect the Enterprise Data Lake.
- Serving as Product Owner in cross-functional collaborations
with business leaders, IT, Legal, and Compliance teams to promote
data governance best practices and drive cultural
transformation.
- Maintaining and grooming a prioritized backlog of data
governance initiatives by utilizing value-driven prioritization to
maximize impact and organizational adoption.
- Designing and delivering iterative training programs on data
governance principles.
- Utilizing feedback loops to continuously improve knowledge
sharing and foster a responsive data stewardship culture.
- Regularly assessing data quality and governance practices to
identify areas of improvement.
- Implementing continuous monitoring and reporting through
governance dashboards, sprint metrics, and regular retrospectives
to measure effectiveness and drive improvements.iM Qualified
Because I Have---
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems,
Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree
preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in data governance or data quality
management.
- Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, regulatory
requirements, and industry standards.
- Expertise in Agile Data Governance methodologies.
- Experience implementing and managing data governance tools and
technologies.
- Proven record of leading cross-functional teams and driving
organizational change.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Bonus

- Experience with data governance platforms such as Alation or
Microsoft Purview.

range for this position is $122,000 - $188,000. Individual
compensation for each candidate depends on factors such as
qualifications, experience, and candidate location. This range does
not include additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses,
