Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Pain Management
Team in Beloit, Wisconsin and Roscoe, IllinoisOverview:The Nurse
Practitioner or Physician Assistant is a skilled member of the
health team who provides medical and educational services to
patients in collaboration with a licensed physician.Develop skills
and strategies necessary to optimize the health of patients in pain
and to support the elimination of the major public health problem
of incomplete assessment, treatment, and reassessment of pain and
to decrease the burden of chronic pain as a major public health
problem.Analyze and overcome barriers to the management of acute,
chronic, and cancer pain conditions, including reducing disparities
in access to quality pain care across the healthcare continuum, and
reducing unintentional consequences (misuse, abuse, and diversion
issues) related to the use of opioid analgesics in the treatment of
chronic pain.Develop skills and strategies necessary to optimize
the health of patients in pain and to support the elimination of
the major public health problem of incomplete assessment,
treatment, and reassessment of pain and to decrease the burden of
chronic pain as a major public health problem.Implement optimal
clinical assessment and risk management strategies, evidence-based
treatment protocols, and a patient-centered approach to improve the
treatment of patients of all ages with various pain conditions.

evidence-based integrative and interventional pain techniques to
reduce costs, improve efficacy, and leverage outcome-tracking
toolsResponsibilities & Duties:Promotes and maintains patient
health by providing medical services under the supervision of a
physician.Interview and examine patients; review outside studies
and medical histories, determine eligibility for interventional
treatment by physicianDocument patient care services on the day of
service.Develop comprehensive, individualized treatment
plansTreating a wide variety of patients with musculoskeletal,
neuromuscular, and pain disordersPre and post intervention
examsPerform in-office procedures including Botox, joint, and soft
tissue injections.Provide education and support to patients and
their families regarding pain management strategies and self-care
techniques.Educate patients and their family members regarding
interventional pain proceduresStay current on opioid prescribing
guidelines outlined by the CDC, DEA and State of Wisconsin and
Illinois Providing clinic support for follow-up visitsReview and
answer messages; including physician and collaborate as
appropriateMedication and pump refillsCo-management of patients
with physical therapy and occupational therapyMonitor and evaluate
the effectiveness of pain management interventions.Collaborate with
physicians and other healthcare providers to optimize patient
careRequirements:Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization
or experience in Pain Management a plusCertification as a Nurse
Practitioner in Family Practice or Adult Medicine.Strong
communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in electronic
medical records (EMR) systems.Ability to work well in a
team-oriented environment.Experience in performing minor medical
procedures.Bilingual skills are a plus.Excellent organizational
skills and attention to detail.Ability to handle high-stress
situations calmly and effectively.Registered Nurse (RN)
license.Nurse Practitioner (NP) certification.State-specific
licensure for nurse practitioners.Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification.Must maintain a current medical license and DEA
license2-3 years of experience as an advanced practice provider is
preferredExperience in pain management or orthopedics is
preferredAbility to maintain strict confidentialityAbility to
