Job Description:
Carle Health is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
to join our vibrant healthcare team. At Carle Health, we blend

patient outcomes. As an RRT, you will play a crucial role in
patient care by evaluating, treating, and managing patients of all
ages suffering from respiratory illnesses. Working alongside a team
of skilled healthcare providers, you will deploy your expertise in
respiratory care, employing state-of-the-art technology to improve,
treat, and manage patient respiratory needs, aligning with our
mission of excellence in community-based healthcare. Assessing
patient respiratory function and diagnosing respiratory diseases.
Creating and implementing effective care plans in conjunction with
the healthcare team. Operating and managing life support mechanical
ventilation systems. Administering aerosol-based medications and
maintaining patient airways. Monitoring and recording patient
progress and response to treatments. Educating patients and
families about respiratory health and preventive measures.
Proficient in using ventilators and other respiratory equipment.
Excellent diagnostic and clinical reasoning skills. Strong
interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work both
independently and within a multidisciplinary team. Medical

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the
National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). Active licensure as a
Respiratory Therapist in the applicable state.
