community Staff Nurse - Inpatient Behavioral Health Completes an
initial treatment plan including basic and special needs Treats and
cares for patients demonstrating an understanding of cognitive,
emotional and chronological status Anticipates and provides for
discharge needs Charts the patient's progress in conjunction with
the specific treatment plan. Utilizes available resources,
including family, referral sources, prior treatment sources, and
current multidisciplinary treatment team Demonstrates
accountability and responsibility for the therapeutic milieu
Validates the appropriateness of written orders Implements
physician and nursing orders as appropriate involving the patient,
family and significant others Competent group facilitation and 1:1

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Bachelors Degree
preferred The Registered Nurse will have a current RN Licensure in
the State of Illinois. Current CPR - BLS certification 1 year of
nursing experience within the area of inpatient psychiatry -
preferred Successful completion of Hospital and Unit orientation
