Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/09/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Title: RN PCU Location: Lafayette, IN 47905 Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:00 - 06:30) Requirements: 1 yrs. of exp. Required. ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Required. Cerner Preferred. Description: Please confirm if you have experience with the following drips and procedures: Cardizem, Amiodarone, Lasix, Insulin, Post Heart Cath, and Post Pace-maker Locals: NOT accepted Shift: 3x12 Certs REQ: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required Pending License accepted: Yes. Must have IN state, compact, or IN temp license in hand prior to start. Mixed Acuity Unit - Medical patient with some PCU level of care patients. We are also the oncology and stroke unit. MS patients are 1:5-6 ratio and PCU patients 1:3-4 Will have cardizem, amio, insulin drips Will see unstable strokes and BiPap MPCU is a dynamic mixed acuity unit comprised of both medical surgical and progressive levels of care. Areas of care include oncology, stroke, cardiac, gastrointestinal and pulmonary.
