Overview POSITION SUMMARY: The OSF Cardiovascular Institute, part of OSF HealthCare, seeks a BC/BE Electrophysiologist to join their team OSF HealthCare consists of thirteen hospitals and medical centers, one long-term facility and two colleges of nursing. The cardiovascular service line consists over 55 Cardiologists and surgeons. You will walk into a progressive practice that will be busy from day one with a primary care referral base of 300 providers. We are group of 4 electrophysiologists and 2 nurse practitioners who work very closely with one another in addition to collaborating with a very skilled pediatric electrophysiologist We have electrophysiology labs with dedicated EP staff who are familiar with performing all devices, Watchman, complex ablations including epicardial VT ablation as well as Impella devices if needed. OSF Medical Center is a 650 bed hospital with approximately 12 feeder hospitals with a catchment area of 2 million patients. Volume is not a problem at our institution and we currently have waiting periods of several months for an atrial fibrillation ablation.
