Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Chicago, IL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,241 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/17/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Chicago, Illinois, 60612! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience in Intensive Care Unit License: Valid license required upon submission Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - Experience with computerized documentation - Experience with trazodone management and care of ventilated patients - Ability to interpret arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias - Knowledge of isolation precautions and personal protective equipment Description: Position available for a Registered Nurse specializing in Intensive Care Unit. The schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts. It is a night shift position. Weekend work is required every other weekend, totaling two weekends per month. Request for time off is capped at five days, with no more than two consecutive days. There are restrictions on time off surrounding holidays and weekends. Floating to other units may be required based on facility needs. Nursing staff will float between various Intensive Care Units and may also float to medical-surgical units if needed. The first week will include orientation and precepting shifts on days. Candidates must have certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and NIH Stroke Scale. Candidates must live within a specified distance from the facility. Vaccination for COVID-19 is required, with no exemptions allowed. Flu vaccination is also mandatory, with medical and religious exemptions only.
