performanceWhat We Are Looking ForAs the Benefits Manager, you are
responsible for providing competitive Benefits programs and
offerings that help make Panduit a great place to work through
attracting and retaining great talent at all levels.Lead the
design, development, management and administration of the company's
North America (US and Canada) health and welfare programs while
working with global HR Directors and managers to ensure valuable,
cost-effective benefits are in place around the world. Provides
leadership and direction to benefits staff in order to deliver
results and provide a great experience for all employees. Manages
third party vendors in support of benefits philosophy and
policies.What You Will Do
- Participate in strategy planning, benefits design, cost
analysis, implementation and communication of regional employee
benefit plans. Assist global HR with strategy and planning as
required and requested. Measure and report out on success of
benefits programs annually to the HR leadership team and executive
management.
- Build strong relationships with senior leadership,
stakeholders, and employees to ensure to ensure alignment between
the needs of the business and the needs of our people. Manage all
Benefits resources to ensure timely, effective and proactive
handling of stakeholders needs. Oversee the implementation of
Benefits programs through direct reports and the human resources
team members. Identify opportunities for improvement and resolve
problems. Provide guidance, coaching and performance management to
all direct reports.
- Monitor and maintain plan compliance with all applicable laws
and regulations, including but not limited to, plan
documents/amendments, 5500 filings, Summary Annual Report
distribution, discrimination testing and Summary Plan Description
updates. Work closely with external partner (manage the
relationship) to ensure compliance.
- Lead the global benefits brokerage across Panduit. Ensure the
performance of the vendors and manage the relationship to secure
the highest level of service. Define expatriate benefit offerings,
visas and relocation processes for Panduit and handle these for
high level/key talent across Panduit.What You Will Bring Required
Degree: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or
universityCertificate(s): CEBS certification (or some coursework) a
plus
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in benefits management
administration, including direct experience with ERISA plans
- Experience with an online benefits enrollment platform (Workday
a plus)
- 3-5 years managing and developing a team
- Exposure to global benefits practices (at least one country
outside of the U.S.)
- Knowledge of ERISA/DOL/IRS compliance as it related to employee
benefit plans
- Strong project management skills and experience leading
multi-functional projects
- Must be proficient with HRMS systems and MS Office (Workday a
plus)
- Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee
coaching skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop staff members.
- Demonstrated ability to serve as a knowledgeable resource for
senior leadership teams and stakeholders.
- General knowledge of various employment laws and practices and
experience working with a corporate employment law attorney.
- Adept at handling confidential and sensitive information with
discretion and working to ensure confidentiality is respected
throughout the organization.
- Demonstrated managerial skills including leadership,
decisiveness, flexibility, sound business judgment, and highly
developed personal, analytical and communication skills.
- Familiarity with expatriate benefitsTRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Travel
