  • In our job, you will have high visibility and interaction with the senior executive team and play a critical role in transforming the Company into a WORLD-CLASS MANUFACTURING organization and lead the development and rollout of operational performance standards, processes, and metrics to drive high performance in all aspects of Operations including Manufacturing, Logistics, Safety, Quality, Maintenance and Asset care. This role reports directly to the Sr VP of Operations and is part of the senior supply chain leadership team.
  • Responsibility for managing the Company's MANUFACTURING INNOVATION PROGRAM and drive efforts to drive new and unique manufacturing technologies & processes.
  • This role is available 100% REMOTE with travel to multiple sites, including to Panduit's World Head Quarters monthly.What We Are Looking ForA continuous improvement leader for Panduit globally who is responsible for defining, implementing, and optimizing the OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE (OPEX) PROGRAM for the business such that it delivers tangible and measurable value in terms of improved Quality, Service levels, and lower supply Costs through waste elimination and improved process capabilities. This role is critical to achieving Panduit's long-term strategic vision for its supply chain operations and to moving it toward World Class Manufacturing (WCM) performance.This role will also manage Panduit's MANUFACTURING INNOVATION PROGRAM, acting in the role of a directly responsible individual (DRI). In conjunction with your colleagues in Operations and R&D, you will coordinate and manage Panduit's efforts, to introduce and adopt new and unique manufacturing technologies and processes to support our business needs and ensure Panduit remains competitive for years to come.What You Will Do
    • Build a strong global OPEX organization (direct and matrix staff) that will implement Panduit's Lean Operating model across a global network of -4,000 people and 15 operational sites located in four continents.
    • Partnering with other Supply Chain (SC) leaders, measure the progress of the OPEX program and facilitate the development and implementation of plans at Panduit locations to drive the OPEX initiative along its maturity curve. This should include programs that recognize and reward strong performance.
    • In conjunction with SC leadership, define critical breakthrough projects that will "change the game" for Panduit operationally and take the lead to get these executed with the OPEX team
    • Support the broader business requirements, such as major problem-solving needs, quality concerns, etc. as required. Become the "go-to" experts for problem resolution.
    • Directly manage a team of Continuous Improvement professionals including a matrix team across the 15-site global network.
    • Act as the directly responsible individual (DRI) for Panduit's Manufacturing Innovation program, working closely with Manufacturing R&D and the Manufacturing sites to define and execute a change program that will support the medium and long-term business and operational targets and ensure that Panduit stays at the forefront of manufacturing technology.
    • Work with the Manufacturing and Distribution sites and the Finance function to manage and administer Panduit's operational productivity program thereby ensuring we are delivering year on year savings back to the businessWhat You Will Bring
      • Required Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent science/engineering-based qualification.
        • Required Certifications: Master Black Belt and additional Lean & Quality certifications
        • Experience:
        • 10+ years of Lean Manufacturing experience, with experience in a global environment, ideally leading the OPEX transformation program. Previous leadership of a matrix continuous improvement team is a plus.
        • Ability to lead change, influence leadership, staff, and plant management, and become the company champion and Subject Matter Expert for Lean principles. interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are essential in this matrix environment.
