  • Enjoy strong support from top management within a company that values quality so much we made it a core valueWhat We Are Looking ForThe Director, Quality Improvement will coordinate and lead Operations Quality Team activities, apply Continuous Improvement methodologies for root cause investigations and high levels of fix to achieve Panduit --s short- and long-term performance objectives. The Director will have frequent and detailed contact with all levels of management within the company as well as stakeholders outside of the company. The Director has direct responsibility over the Supplier Quality Team and matrix responsibility for the Global Operations Quality Managers.What You Will Do
    • Define and deploys appropriate policies, procedures and objectives to control processes and ensure that products meet their intended use; ensuring compliance with critical design quality characteristics, reliability and safety to reduce quality costs and ensure conformity to internal design and regulatory requirements.
    • Monitor a quality dashboard that includes lead metrics and standards to assess quality performance in support of the decision-making process. Adjusts work and focus areas accordingly.
    • Manage the Supplier Quality team directly, working on improving the quality of raw materials and buy outs.
    • Drive continuous improvement. Recognizes and identifies potential areas where existing policies, programs, products, metrics or procedures require change/improvement or where new ones need to be developed, in support to internal and external customer needs.
    • Lead global initiatives that support QEHS Strategy through Quality at the Source, Quality Basics and Lessons Learned/Best Practices implementation. Serves as a change agent to lead groups through process transformations.
    • Develop and implement a Global Operations Quality Strategy in support of Global Supply Chain, Global Quality and Business Unit Strategy and Objectives. Creates, implements and manages a vision, mission and service level agreement (SLA) for quality, service and cost for Operations Quality.
    • Drive technology improvements to support quality related activities, based on business unit and function's strategy.
    • Enable staff proficiency in advanced quality planning, root cause analysis, structured problem solving and reliability tools within the area of responsibility.
    • Oversee staff performance and development in a global matrix organization and direct report structure, by participating in staff selection, development and training.What You Will Bring
      • Required Degree: BS Engineering degree or equivalent / similar technical degree
      • Preferred Degree: MBA
      • Required Certificate(s): ASQ, CQE or CRE. 18 months after starting in the position: ISO 9000, 14000 internal auditor Continuous Improvement Experience (Lean/Six Sigma)
      • Preferred Certificate(s): IATF internal auditor
      • Experience: 15+ years of progressive & substantial experience and results as Quality Manager, designing and implementing compliance and prevention systems, ability to resolve disputes subtly and tactfully, attention to detail.
