  • Growing team with potential for growth and exposureWhat We Are Looking ForThe Business Development Manager will be responsible for influencing and supporting the short and long-term global go-to-market growth strategy for the Alternative Energy target market(s). They will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support the Alternative Energy vertical market value proposition(s) development. Develop business plans and offering launch plans. Track progress and recommend changes in go to market strategic objectives based on execution metrics.What You Will Do
    • Evaluate needs, behaviors and pain points of target Alternative Energy ecosystem personas (End User/Asset Owner, Assembler/OEM, Contractor, Distributor...) and key market segments including actions of competitors
    • Perform competitive analysis: review, gather and analyze competitor information and provides insights accordingly
    • Gather data that supports segmentation strategy
    • Contribute to value prop development for the Alternative Energy target market(s)
    • Own and evangelize the value prop to targets by creating an implementation strategy
    • Develops market activation enablement tools thru messaging, marketing and content internally and externally including sales and customers to meet offering objectives.
    • Collaborate with marketing to create effective promotions that increase revenue thru channel partners
    • Identifies and supports channel and partner needs thru collateral, messaging and direct contact
    • Proactively develop new channels, ensure long-term optimization of channel mix by geography, product groups and market segments
    • Contribute delivers and messages the strategy cross-functionally across the organization
    • Interact cross functionally with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Supply Chain, IT, Finance,
    • Collaborate with marketing on objectives and metrics
    • Measure and ensure the effectiveness of the strategy, value prop and messaging in the go to market ecosystemWhat You Will Bring
      • Required Degree: Undergraduate degree in either engineering, business administration, finance or marketing
      • Preferred Degree: MBA strongly preferred
      • Years of Experience: 5-7 years
