Our client seeks a regional sales manager at their suburban Chicago headquarters location to develop sales and a customer base for their new heavy equipment and aftermarket parts and service.

    • Responsible for business development activities to identify opportunities, establish rapport, and secure orders for custom, heavy equipment in an assigned territory
    • Work with application engineering team to respond to requests for proposal and assist in the development of sales proposals
    • Assist engineering team members in preparing drawings and technical reports
    • Make live customer presentations and negotiate contract terms on an ongoing basisCandidate Requirements
      • Bachelor's Degree in business or a technical field
      • More than 5 years business development experience in custom industrial equipment
      • Ability to read and to interpret structural drawings and blue prints, customer specifications, industrial standards and codes
      • Proficiency building client relationships and solving problems
      • Ability to work in a cross-functional oriented setting
      • Ability to convey product features and value
      • Strong interpersonal as well as verbal and written communication skills
      • Ability to travel domestically as required Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without restrictions.
