On our team, you'll have the support to excel at work and the resources to build a career you can be proud of. 1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm Logistics at full potential.As the Trade Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for the compliance function, ensuring all elements of the compliance program are properly implemented and executed. Your focus will be on delivering strategies and programs to mitigate risk, as well as continuously evaluating and improving the efficiency of controls. What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Lead the identification, analysis and prioritization of compliance-based risks, and communicate potential impacts to company leadership; utilize risk assessment reports to drive targeted efforts in monitoring and auditing to ensure risks are mitigated and resolved appropriately
  • Develop, modify, implement and provide training on compliance-related procedures and work instructions; coordinate rollout and training of new or updated policies and directives
  • Execute programs designed to ensure compliance with applicable laws and customer requirements; collaborate with company leadership to drive consistency in the approach, processes and tools
  • Manage, assign and ensure resolution of complaints made to the Ethics and Compliance hotline
  • Lead the development of processes that track, monitor, trend and analyze regulatory requirement changes, external communications and hotline results; manage compliance and ethics improvements and changes
  • Collaborate with corporate counsel and HR department team members to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations; make recommendations to improve gaps in performance against contractual and regulatory requirements
  • Perform HR department audits to maintain compliance with policies and procedures; keep up to date with industry regulatory environment and changes
  • Ensure execution of all audit plan documentation and tasks with the appropriate level of consistency and governanceWhat you need to succeed at GXO:At a minimum, you'll need:
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
    • 5 years of experience in compliance, third-party risk management and/or compliance programming auditing
    • Experience in program/project management, including change management, stakeholder management, user training and communications
    • Experience in Microsoft Office, including building complex formulas in ExcelIt'd be great if you also have:
      • PMP or SHRM-CP certification
      • Experience in HR compliance with large, complex organizations
      • Experience with HR systems and tools
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presenting clean, organized and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience
      • The capacity to quickly learn and become adept in new software applications
      • The self-motivation to work well with minimal supervision or in a team environment
