to join our team as a Process Engineer (RF Systems), based out of
Rolling Meadows, IL. Manufacturing Engineers thrive in an
environment of daily unique challenges and close proximity to
products. Partnering with production, successful process / test /
industrial engineers lead troubleshooting and ensure excellence in
hardware and software. Engineers who do well in this setting enjoy
seeing their work perform in a test or a product, collaborate and
communicate well across functions, and are innovative problem
solvers. Best suited to this role are those who enjoy learning and
bring a sense of urgency and energy to their tasks. This position
would include providing process support for the manufacture of the
Shop Replaceable Units. This position will also support aerial,
military-grade, or space-grade Electronic Warfare Systems and
Subsystems. Building a strong professional relationship with other
Manufacturing disciplines (Process Engineering, Project Management,
Shop Operations, Mission Assurance), strong decision-making skills,
and a high-level ethical standard is essential. What you'll get to
do : Support to Production : Coordinate with Design Engineering,
Production technician, Project Management, Manufacturing
Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Quality organizations to
meet manufacturing contractual commitments. Investigate, design,
and provide solutions to support nonconformance repair procedures.
Process Development/Maintenance : Generate and maintain/revise
Manufacturing Engineering Process Specifications, Work
Instructions, Routers, Tooling/Fixturing, and Equipment. Continuous
improvement : Review of quality metrics to identify and implement
continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cost, cycle time, and
defects. Producibility reviews : Collaborate with design
engineering to achieve producibility in new and updated product
designs. Ability to interface/communicate with multiple levels of
leadership, clients, and vendors. Work with Microsoft Office
Suites. We seek individuals with proven excellence in the following

High-Performing Team Basic Qualifications: Process Engineer (RF
Systems): Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical,
Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or related STEM degree with a
minimum of 2 years relevant experience; or a Master of Science (MS)
degree in equivalent fields. Experience interpreting drawings and
specifications. Experience creating process work instructions,
working in a manufacturing environment, and/or working in a design
environment. The ability to obtain and DOD security clearance
United States citizenship required. Preferred Qualifications:
Process Engineer (RF Systems): Active DoD Security Clearance.
Experience working in a cleanroom manufacturing environment.
Experience with automated manufacturing equipment. Prior experience
with Integrated Micro Assembly (IMA) manufacturing and/or Circuit
Card Assemblies. Experience with the manufacturing of Traveling
Wave Tube Assemblies (TWT). Proven excellence with Root Cause
Corrective Action methods. Experience in developing/improving
manufacturing processes for Radio Frequency (RF) Electronic

Level Salary Range: $79,600.00 - $119,400.00 The above salary range
represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers
a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the
scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's
experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime,
shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base
pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions
as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees
in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long
Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety
of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and
disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid
time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business. The
