salary exemptJob Summary: The Graphic Designer and Website
Administrator is responsible for creating visual concepts for
print, digital platforms, promotional items, and annual reports,
ensuring brand consistency. This role also involves maintaining the
organization's website, optimizing performance, and ensuring
cybersecurity with the IT team. The position requires staying
updated on design trends, managing multiple projects, and
communicating effectively with team members and leadership to meet
deadlines.Job Responsibilities:Graphic Design:
- Develop and execute visual concepts for various media,
including print materials (brochures, flyers, posters, annual
reports), digital platforms (websites, social media), and
promotional items (organization giveaways, event materials, and
multimedia projects).
- Create graphics, logos, illustrations, and other visual assets
that effectively communicate brand messages.
- Ensure consistency in visual design across all channels,
maintaining a strong brand identity.
- Utilize design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator,
InDesign) to create and edit designs.
- Stay updated on design trends and best practices.Website
Administrator and Maintenance:
- Develop user-friendly and visually appealing website
designs.
- Implement and maintain website content, ensuring accuracy and
relevance.
- Optimize website for performance and user experience.
- Work closely with IT to ensure adherence to technical
compliance requirements.
- Stay updated on web design trends and best
practices.Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with team members to understand their needs and
ensure a cohesive online presence.
- Present design concepts and receive feedback effectively.
- Communicate design decisions and rationale clearly.Job
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, web design, or a related
field.
- Experience in graphic design and website administration.
- Strong understanding of design principles, brand guidelines,
typography, color theory, and visual communication.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve design and technical
issues.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and
meeting deadlines.
- Estimate project timelines and costs.
- Track progress of projects and identify potential
issues.Reports to Director of Marketing & Development
