Job Description The Rebate Analyst and Controller position is part of the global Payments & Commerce Solutions (P&CS) Controller team within the Commercial & Investment Bank (“CIB”). The position is part of a team responsible for the preparation and payment of commercial client incentives for the Commercial Card business. The Rebates team prepares and pays over 10,000 rebates making payments for $1.4bln annually. We partner with business counterparts in Product, Sales, Relationship Management and Technology to find solutions that meet both client and internal partner requirements. We are focused on details while maintaining accuracy across our processes. Duties and Responsibilities: Review and prepare Commercial Card client and partner rebates. Partner and support Product, Relationship Managers and Bankers providing details on the rebate process and specific client calculations or challenges. Provide end-to-end support for Commercial Card strategic partnerships through: Oversee the monthly accounting and accruals for the growing partnership programs. Providing accounting guidance and support for new partnership initiatives and proposals. Provide leadership to an international team responsible for Commercial Card client incentive payments. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Product Control, Finance Control or related activity within a large multifaceted company. Excellent attention to detail including a strong control focus, experience working with large data files in excel and interpreting client contracts. Strong technical skills especially Excel, Alteryx and similar software. Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to develop strong working partnerships with all levels throughout the organization. Proven ability to work on multiple projects with competing deadlines. NOTE: This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
