Our comprehensive line of products includes: pipe couplings, plain-end fittings, valves, cast and malleable iron fittings, forged steel fittings, steel pipe nipples and couplings, pipe hangers and hardware, channel and strut fittings, mining and oil field fittings, and much more.The Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis, is a highly visible role that serves as a critical financial partner to the business and Executive Team, reporting directly to the CFO. This leader will have the opportunity to grow and shape the FP&A team and processes as the company grows with the goal of developing a best-in-class Finance function. The VP, FP&A will partner with the business in a collaborative and proactive manner to lead the annual budget cycle and maintain the company financial plan, drive regular analysis and forecasting cadence, leverage financial data and analysis to provide broad decision support to leaders and help drive strategic financial and capital decisions to fund the company's continued growth.The VP, FP&A will have deep expertise leading FP&A in a growing organization, and a successful candidate will have the ability to effectively interact and influence across organizational structures and closely liaise with finance, operations, engineering, manufacturing and business teams.

• Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, including quantitative analysis around key business drivers
• Build and develop the FP&A function and processes led by knowledge of best practices
• Assess economic and specific business drivers and their corresponding impact on company financials
• Deliver monthly analytics and insights that result in a broad perspective of what is driving business results, and conduct in depth financial analysis to understand long term trends and predict future profitability
• Manage the budget and forecast calendar and coordinate with key stakeholders.
• Support critical fundraising and strategic initiatives
• Proactively seek opportunities to improve tools and processes
• Provide support for Board of Directors and Audit Committee meetings.
• Lead the development of succinct and clear executive presentations that simplify complex topics, often with time sensitive deliverables.
• Become an expert on ASC's business and financial drivers.
• Lead and coordinate ad hoc requests from company leadership and cross functional stakeholders.
• Build, mentor, develop and inspire a team of talented FP&A professionals.Required
  • 15+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related specialty, or an MBA with 15+ years of experience in the finance field.
  • 10+ years of leadership/management experience with increasing responsibility.
  • Hands on financial modeling and forecasting expertise.
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor as well as experience resolving complex business problems with well-structured analytics.
  • Hands-on, roll-up the sleeves work ethic in supporting a growing company while developing the function.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic, rapidly changing business environment with a high degree of self-direction.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to clearly communicate compelling messages to senior executives and business partners.
  • Experience presenting complex materials in a succinct manner to senior executives to drive effective decision making.
  • Strong project management skills and demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives across a breadth of stakeholders.
  • Team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, with excellent presentation skills, including strong verbal and writing capabilities.
  • Passion and committed to developing a team, including attracting key talent, and building a strong succession pipeline for the future.Preferred
    • Advanced knowledge of analytics software solutions
